Grilled Corn with Cumin
Fresh ears of corn grilled over an open flame until charred, brushed with rich cumin-infused butter, and finished with fresh lime juice.

- 4 ears of fresh corn (husks removed)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lime

Butter: Whisk melted butter, cumin, chili powder, and salt.

Grill: Grill corn directly on medium-high grates (400°F / 200°C) for 10-12 minutes until charred.

Season: Brush immediately with cumin butter and serve with lime wedges.
Accuracy note
Cumin and salt are common Maghrebi street seasonings. The recipe is intentionally simple and should taste of smoke, corn, cumin, and citrus.
